Quick and Easy Jhangora Kheer Cheese cake

As a chef, I was intrigued by the idea of blending two beloved desserts into one, and the result was simply delightful. The soft and nutty Jhangora Kheer beautifully complements the velvety richness of the cream cheese, creating a harmonious combination of flavors. The addition of date palm jaggery lends a unique sweetness, adding depth to the overall taste.

The process of making this fusion dessert is surprisingly simple and quick. By sautéing the Jhangora and simmering it in milk, we achieve a lovely pudding-like texture. Whisking together the cream cheese, heavy cream, and sweetener creates a fluffy and smooth mixture. Combining the two components and letting them chill in the fridge allows the flavors to meld and intensify.

For those who enjoy experimenting with traditional recipes, Jhangora Kheer Cheesecake is a delightful way to celebrate the best of both worlds. The end result is a heavenly dessert that will surely impress your family and guests. Enjoy the unique combination of flavors and textures in this fusion delight!

Expert Tips

  1. Sauteing the jhangora allows it to absorb the flavors from the ghee and the cardamom pods and helps it fluff up better when the milk is added.
  2. Use any sweetener of your choice, we have used date palm jaggery as it adds an earthy and natural sweetness along with giving the kheer a light caramel color.
  3. You can adjust the consistency of the final kheer cheesecake by adding more cream cheese to the cream cheese and cream mixture. Add more to have a thicker and set cheesecake and vice versa.
