How to make Methi Jholi Bhaat
- Let’s start by making a paste of green chili, garlic, ginger and soaked rice. Put all these ingredients in a blender and blend until a smooth paste is formed.
- Now let’s make the curd mixture. For this add the curd, coriander powder, turmeric and the red chili powder into a bowl and mix well together.
- To make the bhaat, take a pan and put ghee in it. Set it over medium heat and add the cumin seeds and dry red chilies.
- Once the cumin starts to pop, add the methi and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the curd mixture to the pan and simmer for 10-12 minutes until it is a little thick. Add water to adjust the consistency if the mixture becomes too thick.
- Finally serve along with a tadka of cumin seeds and dry red chili.
