Well, this recipe lets you enjoy the taste of 2 different types of muffins, which are sweet and savoury, and are cooked at the same time. Hence this recipe reduces the efforts to half, making it a definite try if you love muffins.

How to make Sweet and Savoury Muffins ?
- Melt 1/2 cup unsalted butter and cream the sugar along with it. Add the mango puree to the butter and whisk it in.
- Crack in 2 eggs and add flour to make a batter. Add in the baking powder to the batter and whisk again.
- In another bowl, take a cup of refined flour and crack in 2 eggs. Add in 1/2 cup of unsalted butter along with the cheddar cheese and whisk it.
- Add in the salt, pepper, parsley, smoked paprika and garlic powder to the cheese batter and whisk till all combined. Gradually add in the milk to correct the consistency.
- Spoon both the batters in a muffin tray and bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Remove the mango muffins and cover the cheese muffin with some more grated cheese and bake again at a high temperature till the cheese is melted.
- Garnish the mango muffins with strawberry jam and chopped fresh mango.
Expert Tips
- For the sweet muffins it is necessary to dissolve the sugar completely in the butter.
- For the savoury muffins, there isn't any baking powder in the recipe as they don't need to puff up much.
- Bake the cheese muffins again at 200 degrees for best results.
