Chickpea Burger
Wonder how a felafel as a burger would taste ? Well this recipe answers the question. This middle east inspired burger made with boiled chickpeas and sesame paste, gathers a similar dish but with the american twist.

How to make Chickpea Burger ?
1) Take a cup of chickpeas and blend them into a paste, to that add chopped garlic, green chilli and ginger. Mix it all together.

2) Season the mix with all the fried herbs and spices. Also add the tahini paste and cornstarch. Mix it together into a thick mixture.

3) Form the mixture into two burger patties. Drizzle some oil on a hot grill pan and grill your burger patties for 2-3 minutes on both sides.

4) Place the burger in between two burger buns with some sliced onions and tomatoes, with some mayonnaise spread on both the sides.

- Make sure to blend the chickpeas into a fine paste without any big chunks remaining.
- Do not leave out the cornflour, as it is necessary for the binding.
- A chickpea burger takes more than the usual meat burger to grill so be patient with that.
