How easy is it to clean Circulon non-stick cookware?
Circulon non-stick cookware is created to provide excellent non-stick performance that lasts longer than other brands. The Total Non-Stick System uses Hi-Low Wave Technology in conjunction with one of the best advanced non-stick coatings available. This "Hi-Low" groove design increases the radiant surface while also reducing how much food comes into contact with it. By reducing the likelihood of food sticking, this makes it much easier to clean the pan and requires less oil for healthier cooking. Not only is Circulon cookware compatible with all types of cooking surfaces, but it's also easy to clean.
What is the first thing I do before using Circulon Steel Shield C Series?
Before using for the first time, remove all labels and wash with detergent. Then rinse and dry thoroughly. For best results, condition the non-stick cooking surface with a little vegetable oil before use on the steel ridges. Use kitchen paper to remove any leftover oil. If you do this every so often, it will help keep the non-stick surface in good condition.
Things to remember while cooking on gas stove top
For best results, use Circulon cookware on a burner of corresponding diameter and with low to medium heat. If you're using the cookware on a gas hob, make sure the flame doesn't extend up the sides of the pan. Excessive heat can lead to discoloration. If lids are available, use them while cooking - this will help lock in nutrients and flavour. Additionally, less heat will be required, saving you energy. Never leave an empty pot or pan on a hot stovetop burner or let it boil dry. This is a needless waste of energy and will damage the cookware. If your pan does boil dry, do not try to remove it from the heat source until it has cooled down completely.
How easy is it to use in Oven?
You can cook without the lid at up to 260 degrees Celsius, and with the lid on up to 180 degrees Celsius. You can start cooking a dish on the stove then finish it in the oven. Always use an oven glove when removing from the oven. Avoid placing the handles over the heat source to prevent accidents. Food residue build-up is inevitable, but it's crucial to clean your pan after each use; if left uncleaned, it will cause pans to break down much sooner than necessary.
Some Cleaning tips
After you're finished using the pan, take it off the heat and let it cool or any surface that can resist heat. Never pour cold water into a hot pan because this might damage the shape of its base. Always clean your pans after each use. If you want your non-stick surface to last, make sure to clean it with a kitchen towel or tissue paper after each use. This will remove any food or grease particles which could settle into the grooves of the Hi-Low system and cause stains if not removed. Only use cleaning products that are specified as safe for non-stick surfaces. Do not clean with steel wool, scouring pads, or powders as these can damage the surface. A film consisting of spots (minerals from water and starch from food) may form on the non-stick surface over time. This film can be removed quickly and easily by rubbing the non-stick surface with a sponge that has been soaked in lemon juice or vinegar. Wash your pan with hot soapy water and wipe them with a soft cloth after each use. Be sure to clean the exterior surface as well as the non-stick surface. Never store pans when they are damp or wet and interleave them with kitchen paper to avoid scratching during storage.
